Zone plate setting in backlight

I really love this camera, it helps me create the most lovely dreamy moods. And I have just found out that this zone plate setting renders itself very very good for prints in the wet darkroom too.

I used this image for a four days work in my darkroom, you can see the results here on Shimmering Grains.

Enjoy!  🙂

  2. Gorgeous photo … you’re inspiring me to make zone plate photos again! I need more time 🙂

I love the 4th print on your other site, the way it gives the impression of some clarity in the foreground with that wonderful softness in the background and the top of the tree, and the beautiful richness and range of tones in the sky.

    • Thank you Jacki! The lith print, yes it is a favourite… I was happily surprised to discover that the zone plate images worked so well in the darkroom. I think they are more beautiful than the negative scan.
